We stayed here for 7 days and right from the very first day we were made to feel very welcome by Mrs poppy, her family and staff. Our rooms were lovely, equipped with a fridge, large double bed, air con, tv, huge bathroom with rain shower and were cleaned everyday. The pool area is lovely, plenty of sunbeds to choose from, large main pool and smaller more private pool. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. For a small fee (the same price it would have cost us on the bus) one of their drivers will take you into Fira Town and pick you up again – very impressive and reliable service, for a little bit more we were able to be dropped off and picked up from kamari a little further away. They recommended the sunset boat trip and were able to give us a discount and sorted everything out for us including transfers. We have been on many holidays over the years but can honestly say this was one of the best and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you Mrs poppy and all the family and staff for making our week’s holiday so amazing, you’re all wonderful people! ❤️

My sister an I have just had the best 5 days here…the staff were brilliant…very friendly and helpful…poppy..Mary..Val…Socrates ..Aris such lovely people.
Our room was very clean..fresh towels each day ..pool area very clean..bar facility brilliant..great food and cocktails.
All round would definitely recommend 100 per cent.

Nice and friendly place

Thanks to Poppy ! We are a big group of 26 who arrived early for our booking but surely Poppy done her magic in sorting our villas. Their warm welcome was extraordinary which we felt immediately at home and comfortable. The rooms are ample, clean and had a nice balcony with furniture where you do have a look over the pool and fields around to the Eastern coastline. So if you like to sleep a bit longer, it is not a problem. Renting a car/ bike was easy too. Poppy managed everything very smoothly. Thanks again we had a nice stay and definitely staying again on our next trip to Santorini! YAMAS from London – Alfred

It’s so calming and comfortable, felt like being at home or meeting up for a family reunion! Views are stunning, food was delicious, and Poppy was the most gracious host. Her and her entire team did everything to ensure my stay was pleasant, which it was! I will be returning.

Just left and already missing it! Not only was the villa itself beautiful and homely, the staff were lovely and made us feel right at home as well. Had lots of fun and would definitely go back!!

Me and two other friends were spending a part of our spring break in Santorini. We decided to book Villa Manos and it turned out to be a very good decision. The service is great and the management is very nice and accommodating. We even got some free food and drinks with our stay! We also booked ATV’s for 2 days and they offered free transport to the place. Villa Manos is great. Their rooms are also very nice.

I had a wonderful time in Santorini. Villa Mnaos was the best Hotel i stayed. The staff is very friendly, they have a very gook delivery and the hotel is beautiful with a very good price. Totally recomend

Villa Manos is somehow charming and luxurious. Poppy and her crew keep everything spotless, and you feel like you\’re staying at a 5 star resort while lounging by the pool. When you go into the common area, Poppy is always there to help you with any of your needs. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I\’ve had.

This is by far the nicest hostel I have ever stayed at. The pool and the picturesque views made our stay incredible. Also, the hospitality of Poppy was so refreshing and welcome. Definitely will return if I have the chance!

They are very kind, offer all kinds of advice and drive you to and from the port and the airport. Highly recommend!

This place is GREAT. Poppy and her husband are some of the most generous and accommodating people I have seen in terms of hotels. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were beautiful, and the hotel is a warm comfortable environment. Highly recommend!

Literally this is perfect place for traveler.

Free shuttle from Harbor to Villa and all people are very kind.

I can’t forget the dish that made by madam.

It feels like mother.

Unfortunately, I reserve this place without sign in at hostels.com.

But you won’t regret your choice!

When the ferry arrived at Santorini port my wife picked out Poppy from the throng of domatia people behind the fence all wanting our business. We liked her face & attitude so much that we decided to stay @ V. Manos. On arrival we were given a great welcome by Poppy’s husband Vangelis and their daughter. The room was really good and had we stayed more that one night on the island we would have made even better use of the services available from the family.

The bed was comfortable & the room very clean, we made our own dinner (from goods bought at the supermarket just 80 metres down the road) and had a relaxing swim in their pool with 180+degree views of the island & sea.

The Fira village is a brisk 30 minute walk from the Villa and it gave us a chance to get some exercise before the shopping.

The next morning’s breakfast was better value than the price they charged!

When the boat trip we had booked through Poppy was cancelled she worked very hard to find us an alternative. As our departing ferry was 7 hours after we checked out of the room they allowed us to store our bags at the Villa until after the boat trip and donkey rides and then they took us down to the main port (when they went to meet the next incoming ferry) so that we could wait a short while for our ferry to Folegandros.

Because of their ***** service we plan to come back to Villa Manos in Santorini in 2011 – with 6 friends.

Ich kam zum Fotografieren nach Santorini und suchte eine gόnstige Unterkunft. Villa Manos kann ich nur empfehlen, gόnstig und sehr sauber, sehr freundlich Poppy und Ihre Familie, sehr leckeres Frόhstόck. Zum Hauptort sind ca. 25 Minuten zu Fuss. Der Bus-Stop ist nur wenige Minuten von der Villa Manos entfernt. Hin und wieder braucht man etwas Geduld, bis der Bus kommt. Aber der φffentliche Bus bedient die ganze Insel und ist gόnstig.

We were many families staying together at Villa Manos in June. Excellent and friendly service from the whole Poppy family! Very good breakfast! Nice, clean rooms. Free transport from/to the port and airport. We recommend this place!

I loved Villa Manos and the wonderful Poppy and her family. It’s a great place, with reasonable prices. And their breakfast was far better — and cheaper — than a breakfast we had in Fira. Staying at Villa Manos and visiting the beautiful Santorini was quite a special experience. I can’t wait to return to both places!

And it’s true, these people make you feel like family. Upon arrival, a warm welcoming hug and a brimming glass of port! THAT, is how it’s done my friends. WOW.
The rooms were so shiney and clean, fresh linens and towels every day – very nice, especially at the price you pay…excellent deal. The pictures on this site do not lie, the surroundings are so lovely and very very well kept. The breakfasts were delicious, and the coffee…ugh…so yum!
Poppy was so helpful in getting us a taxi, or our wheels (a quad), a tour around the volcanic island, a ride to and from the airport (free), and friendly advice whenever we needed anything. So fantastic.
Poppy is so careful to please too; she came down to our room to inquire about our room and another room we looked at (to possibly switch for), to see if there was anything we didn’t like. These people will bend over backwards to help and make sure your stay is as perfect as possible.
Wonderful family, big beautiful hearts and a lovely and inexpensive place to stay.
WHEN I come back, I will surely stay here again!

I stayed at Villa Manos about a year ago just before Orthodox Easter while studying abroad in Athens. I lived and traveled in Greece for about 6 months and Villa Manos was without a doubt the most enchanting place I’ve ever been. I cannot stress how truly wonderful Poppi and her family are.

The rooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen in Greece, the views and location absolutely perfect, and the hospitality is unrivaled. I came back to Santorini in May and made the mistake of staying elsewhere on the island; just to try explore the Akrotiri area as I am an archaeologist. I will never make that mistake again–Villa Manos, Poppi, and her family enhanced my experience and it simply wasn’t the same without their warmth and genuine hospitality!! They make the incredible atmosphere of Santorini even more extraordinary and from now on there is no other place I’m staying each time I visit.

After traveling around Greece for 3 weeks, it was soo nice to be, not only picked up from the port but also welcomed so warmly. Poppy and her family are simply fantastic and have the best advice for tours and ways around the island.
(The sunset tour of the island was amazing!!!)

It is a refief when you arrive to find not only a beautiful place to stay, but amazingly hospitable hosts. To Poppi and family, you are a guest in their house – they treat you like one of their own. She is an amazingly warm woman who wants nothing more than to provide fantastic service for the duration of your stay. My son and I spent 5 days there, we had everything we needed at our fingertips, and if it wasn’t there, Poppi would get it for you. Thanks Poppi – you are a wonderful person. Oh, lets not forget the amazing value for money. The Villa’s are a short walk from Fira – close enough for all your conveniences yet far enough from the action and noise. We were so happy at the choice we made – the best value for money by far.

Thank you, Poppy and your wonderful family, for such a lovely stay at Villa Manos last fall (November 2007). My husband and I were recommended to your hotel by “The Captain” at Mirabella on Crete, and we were treated like family from the moment we stepped off the ferry with all those young foreign exchange students! We were greeted with house wine, and that set the tone for a wonderful stay.

I have been thinking about you today because I am making a delicious Greek lamb stew for the cooler weather, and have always wondered how Poppy was doing after her surgery (which she left to have done during our stay – your family did an excellent job at hosting us in your absence). Glad to hear you’re well!

We would highly recommend Villa Manos to anyone visiting Santorini. Poppy’s husband personally picked us up and dropped us off for ferries that were running at very odd, very late hours. The setting is idyllic, the service is superb, the rooms are lovely and clean, and the location is excellent. 🙂

Poppy and the whole crew at Villa Manos were amazing! The hotel was very clean. The room was modern, had air conditioning, TV, and fridge. Breakfast was good especially for the price. Poppy went above and beyond. She is so nice and is willing to help you find whatever you need to have a great stay. I would highly recommend this place and would certainly stay here again!

We stayed at villa manos for a week, and it was incredible, great prices, beautiful rooms, overall it was amazing. i would go back in a second.
poppy is the most amazing woman in the world, she makes you feel right at home (especially helpful if you are homesick)

We stayed at Villa Manos in late october to november for 2 weeks in 2006, out of all the places i stayed in my holiday throughout europe this was by far the best, and probably one of the cheapest. We had a twin room which a kitchenette and fridge and a wonderful balcony we spent every meal eating on! The family that owns it is lovely and will not hesitate to help you with anything you need! I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and will definately be back sometime in the future!

We stayed at Villa Manos from the 4th – 8th October, 2007. This was indeed the best place we stayed in our whole 3 months travelling around Europe! You cannot beat the location, the facilities or the hospitality! Poppy, the owner, is a real gem, nothing is too much trouble! We will always fondly remember Villa Manos, as that is where we got engaged!!!! 🙂

Wow, I really can’t say enough about how wonderful this place was. Poppy is the sweetest person you will ever meet and so helpful when it came to any information we needed to know about the island. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to someday come back.

We stayed for four nights and would do it again in a heartbeat. Poppy and her husband are just what you need when you get to the island — warm, welcoming, helpful, and genuinely happy to see you! Our room was the largest we had on our whole trip across Europe — and the walk into the town of Fira was not a problem. Afterall, when traveling in Europe, you just get used to walking a lot of places. The price was simply unbelievable. We highly and unreservedly recommend this place to anyone.

Our first hotel in Greece and it exceeded expectations. The rooms were clean and spacious. The owners were very friendly and easy to talk to. They provided lots of information on car rental and tours around the island. A big plus was the free transport provided from the airport and to the new port. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to spend within this price range.

We stayed at the Villa Manos for six nights (May 17th-22). The room was wonderful, the views great, location super, people EXCELLENT! The Villa is close enough that we walked into town almost every day (the bus stop is very close but we enjoyed the walk). Poppy arranged a tour of the volcano for us and helped us with renting a car for a day. I recommend the Villa Manos to you whole heartedly. We look forward to many future stays.

Most friendly, hospitable and very helpful. Both Poppy and Vangelis couldn’t do enough to help us. We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to anyone – best pool and frontage we have seen and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
